Alanna T.

PhD Candidate in Neuroscience

"I was on the NHS waitlist for an ADHD assessment for over a year with no updates. My GP even suggested I might not qualify because I’ve done well academically, but they didn’t believe the huge struggles I face behind the scenes. My coach at ADHDdegree really got it—he’d been through a PhD without a diagnosis and knew the challenges. Together, we worked on strategies to help me focus and manage stress, and I’ve just submitted my thesis! Without their support, it might have taken me three more years."

Sophia J.

BSc Philosophy Student

I always felt like my brain ran in circles, and I couldn’t focus on assignments or in class. ADHDdegree’s assessment didn’t just give me answers—it gave me direction. Now I’ve got support and routines that work, and my grades are improving. I’m even considering grad school, something I'd never previously thought possible for me

The ADHD assessment at ADHDdegree helped me realize my brain isn’t broken—I just work differently. I got a prescription for meds and some solid, practical tips to manage my time and deadlines. I recently delivered a key project ahead of schedule! I’m finally seeing my hard work pay off.

J.P.H.

"ADHDdegree gave me the tools to stay focused and organized. I used to think everyone struggled like I did, but getting assessed, diagnosed, and starting meds has completely changed how I work and live. Now, I can stay on top of tasks, handle setbacks calmly, and I am kinder to my colleagues. It’s made me so much more patient and compassionate, and the difference has been noticed and commented by my boss and colleagues."

Jordan T.,

Competitive Tennis Player

"I thought my ADHD was just part of my personality—always jumping between tasks and leaving things unfinished. I mean, in a way it is, but my trouble with task-switching started really impacting training consistency. After the assessment at ADHDdegree, I not only got clarity but also a personalized medication and coaching plan that works with my brain and energy levels. Now I’m training smarter, staying focused, and I made it to the finals in my last tournament!"

Angus M.

"I was struggling at work and worried about losing my job when I reached out to ADHDdegree. Everything felt chaotic, and I was constantly putting out fires. Now, thanks to my coach, I’ve got strategies that work—like using visual reminders in my workspace—and I finally feel on top of things. I’m not beating myself up anymore and can actually enjoy my downtime without the nagging worry of forgetting something. My family has noticed I’m more present, and I feel like life is finally back on track. What a relief."

I can’t recommend ADHDdegree enough—it’s been a game-changer!"

Mei L.

I was overwhelmed with balancing lab work and lectures, and my grades were slipping no matter how hard I tried. The ADHD assessment with ADHDdegree explained why I couldn’t stay focused or keep up. Once I got meds and coaching in place, I learned how to work with my traits, manage my time, and break things down into smaller bits that aren't so overwhelming. I finished my final lab project early and even had time to apply and prepare for a conference at the same time

Ren K.

Environmental Engineer

I used to feel like I was constantly working harder than my colleagues but never catching up. My ADHD assessment made me feel seen for the first time. They helped me identify my strengths and put systems in place to manage my challenges. Last month, I led a big team presentation confidently—something I never thought I could do. This has felt like a real boost for my career and my self-esteem.

Ravi D.

ADHDdegree’s assessment process was a turning point for me. I was struggling to meet deadlines and organize my research, which made me question if I belonged in academia. Their detailed feedback and support gave me clarity, and now I have a much easier time keeping my focus during long research sessions. I’ve already submitted my first 4 chapters and feel so much more confident about finishing my PhD on time.

Clara M.

My career looked great on the outside, but I was drowning in deadlines, anxiety, and creative blocks. ADHDdegree’s assessment gave me the understanding and tools I’d been missing. Now, I’ve organized my practice schedule, reduced stress before performances, and even composed two new pieces in the past month. It’s like I finally have space to breathe and create again!

Maria F.

Administrative Assistant and Mother of 3

When I started the menopause, I felt like I was losing control of everything—missing appointments, forgetting tasks, and snapping at my kids. When I got my ADHD diagnosis through ADHDdegree, it felt like a weight had lifted. They helped me understand that I was overwhelmed all the time. I now have meds and coaching to help me stay on task and manage my time. Now, I’m more present with my kids, my home feels calmer, and I got promoted to a more senior admin role. I wish I’d known this 10 years ago

Dr. Ahmed B.

University Lecturer in Ethics and Law

Managing lectures, research, and students became impossible, and I was burning out. The ADHD assessment at ADHDdegree explained so much of what I’ve been dealing with since my student days. They helped me access the best meds for me and then create systems for organizing my workload, and now I’m more productive and less stressed. I've started writing a book I've been putting off for years. Honestly, it’s a relief to finally feel in control again

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Our ADHD assessment is a comprehensive process designed to give you clarity and confidence about your diagnosis. Here’s what to expect:

Pre-Assessment Preparation
Before your appointment, you may be asked to complete some questionnaires to help us understand your symptoms, medical history, and any co-occurring conditions. This ensures that the assessment is tailored to your unique needs.

In-Depth Clinical Interview
During the assessment, a specialist will conduct a detailed interview to explore your experiences with ADHD symptoms. This includes discussing your history, challenges, strengths, and how symptoms impact your daily life.

Evidence-Based Evaluation
We use validated diagnostic tools, such as the DIVA 2.0 or other recognised methodologies, aligned with NICE guidelines and DSM-5 criteria to ensure an accurate diagnosis.

Consideration of Co-Occurring Conditions
ADHD often overlaps with other conditions, such as anxiety or depression. We carefully assess for these to provide a comprehensive understanding of your needs.

Diagnosis and Recommendations
If ADHD is diagnosed, you will receive a clear explanation of the findings and practical next steps. This includes a detailed, professionally written letter for your GP to support further treatment or shared care arrangements.

Next Steps
If applicable, we offer follow-up appointments for medication management to ensure your treatment is tailored to your needs. These appointments are arranged separately and are designed to provide ongoing support throughout your ADHD journey.
We prescribe a range of medications to support ADHD management, including both stimulant and non-stimulant options. Our approach is to tailor medication to each individual’s needs, considering factors like your lifestyle, health, and treatment goals.

Our team provides structured titration and close monitoring to ensure the medication is effective and well-tolerated. We work collaboratively with you to transition to shared care with your GP whenever possible, ensuring long-term continuity and support.
The ADHD assessment costs £695 and provides a comprehensive evaluation tailored to your needs. This includes a full ADHD diagnosis (if applicable) and a detailed, professionally written letter to share with your GP, which can support access to further treatment and services.

Our assessments are thorough, evidence-based, and designed to give you clarity and confidence about your diagnosis.

Follow-up appointments for medication management, if needed, are priced separately to ensure you only pay for the care you require. We’re happy to provide a clear breakdown of these costs—please don’t hesitate to get in touch for more information.
No, you don’t need a formal diagnosis to benefit from our coaching program.

Coaching focuses on practical tools and strategies to help you overcome challenges and achieve your goals, whether or not you have a diagnosis. Many of our clients seek coaching while exploring the possibility of ADHD or other neurodivergent traits, and we’re here to support you wherever you are on your journey. Our goal is to help you thrive by tailoring the coaching process to your unique experiences and needs.
We accept insurance through Aviva, BUPA, AXA, and Allianz. Each insurance policy is different and you will need to check with your provider to ensure that assessments are covered by your particular policy. If your insurer cofirms that your policy covers assessments, you will be able to claim reimbursement for your assessment. Again, before scheduling an assessment that you want to claim to your insurance, contact your insurance provider directly to confirm coverage for ADHD assessments and related services.

If you need assistance with documentation or invoices for your claim, we’re happy to help.
