Terms and Conditions for ADHDdegree Services

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by ADHDdegree, including ADHD assessments, diagnoses, and medication treatment. By booking an appointment with ADHDdegree, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, which may be updated periodically.

2. Booking Process

Platforms: ADHDdegree uses Pabau as its primary booking platform and occasionally Calendly. Clients are required to select an appointment time online.

Booking Confirmation: After booking, you will receive an email confirmation. If you do not receive a confirmation within 24 hours, please contact us immediately via our Contact Us page.

Medical Records: By booking an appointment, an electronic medical record (EMR) will be created to securely store your medical history and consultation notes.

Consent to Share Records: By booking, you consent to ADHDdegree sharing relevant medical information, including your diagnosis and prescribed treatment, with your GP.

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

Cancellation:

Full refund: Cancellations made 5+ working days before the appointment.

50% refund: Cancellations made 2-5 working days before the appointment.

No refund: Cancellations made within 2 working days of the appointment.

Rescheduling:

Rescheduling is permitted up to 5 working days before the appointment, subject to availability. Rescheduling requests made within 5 working days of the appointment will not be accommodated, and the appointment will be considered canceled under the terms above.

4. Missed Appointments

A missed appointment occurs when:

You fail to attend the consultation at the scheduled time (you may arrive up to 15 minutes late), or you fail to reschedule or cancel within the specified timeframe.

Fees for Missed Appointments: Missed appointments are charged at the full appointment fee and are non-refundable.

5. Payment and Interest Rates

Payment Terms: Payment must be made in full at the time of booking via Stripe. Appointments will not be confirmed until payment is successfully processed.

Cooling-Off Period: By booking an appointment, you waive the statutory 14-day cooling-off period for services booked less than 14 days in advance. This allows ADHDdegree to allocate clinician time and resources immediately.

Overdue Payments: Overdue balances will accrue interest at 10% per annum above [bank’s] standard lending rate. Legal costs, court fees, and collection expenses will be added to overdue amounts as principal.

6. Prescriptions and Re-Issuing

Prescriptions: Medications will be prescribed only when deemed clinically appropriate by the clinician. All prescriptions are private and must be fulfilled at a UK-licensed pharmacy. For more guidance, refer to the NHS ADHD medication guide.

Re-Issuing Prescriptions: Re-issuing lost or misplaced prescriptions is at the sole discretion of the clinician and may incur a fee.

7. Medical Record Sharing

Storage: All medical records are securely stored in compliance with GDPR regulations. For more information, visit the GDPR Information Portal.

Consent for Sharing: By booking an appointment, you consent to ADHDdegree sharing relevant medical information with your GP.

Accuracy: It is your responsibility to verify the accuracy of your medical records during consultations.

Retention: ADHDdegree reserves the right to review, process, and securely store consultation details as part of your EMR.

8. Refunds and Disruptions

Refunds: Refunds are granted in the following situations:

If a consultation is canceled by ADHDdegree, or if a consultation is disrupted due to technical issues attributable to ADHDdegree.

No Refunds: Refunds are not provided for:

Missed appointments, inability to fulfill a private prescription, or starting a consultation late or failing to use all available time.

9. Complaints Procedure

Complaints must be submitted in writing via our Contact Us page. ADHDdegree will acknowledge receipt of complaints within 3 working days and aim to resolve issues promptly. Complaints requiring detailed investigation will receive a formal response within 28 days.

10. Medical and General Disclaimers

Clinician Discretion: Clinicians retain full discretion over diagnoses, treatments, and prescriptions. ADHDdegree makes no guarantees regarding specific outcomes.

Urgent Care: ADHDdegree services are not suitable for emergency or crisis situations. If you require urgent care, contact NHS Emergency Services or your nearest healthcare provider immediately.

Content: Information on ADHDdegree’s website or booking platforms should not be considered medical advice unless provided directly by a clinician during a consultation.

11. Service Reliability

ADHDdegree strives to provide uninterrupted service but cannot guarantee consultations will always be free of technical disruptions. In cases of service interruptions, ADHDdegree will reschedule affected consultations.

12. Technology and Data Security

ADHDdegree uses industry-standard measures to protect your data but cannot guarantee that its platforms will be free from viruses, cyberattacks, or technical failures. Clients are advised to use updated antivirus software on devices used to access ADHDdegree services.

13. Limitation of Liability

ADHDdegree is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of its services. This includes, but is not limited to, technical disruptions, prescription delays, or dissatisfaction with services provided.

14. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, clients agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action. Mediation costs will be shared equally between both parties.

15. Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law. Legal proceedings may be brought in England, Scotland, or Northern Ireland depending on the client’s residence.

16. Force Majeure

ADHDdegree shall not be held liable for failure to provide services due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or regulatory changes.

17. Administrative Fees

Additional administrative tasks, such as providing copies of medical records or re-issuing lost prescriptions or reports, may incur fees. ADHDdegree will communicate these fees before the task is carried out.
