What's Included in Our Fees

Your fee covers a comprehensive 90-minute ADHD assessment using the DIVA diagnostic interview. Assessments are delivered by consultant psychologists and specialist clinicians with extensive expertise in adult ADHD. Should additional time be required to confirm your diagnosis or thoroughly review medication and medical history, we offer complimentary extensions or a follow-up appointment at no extra cost.

Please note that the standard medication appointment to initiate medication is separate from the initial ADHD assessment fee unless you book the ADHD Assessment which includes medication appointment. The cost of medication is also paid separately and directly to the pharmacy. The repeat prescritpion fee applies when a prescription is issued without a medication review appointment.

The assessment fee also includes a detailed written report delivered within 10 working days, outlining your diagnosis and recommended treatment plan, if applicable.

Ongoing Treatment Costs

Your assessment fee covers the comprehensive assessment and detailed follow-up report. If medication is recommended and you choose to proceed, follow-up appointments are required to monitor your response and adjust treatment as necessary. The frequency and timing of these follow-ups are decided together by you and your clinician at each stage.

Medication costs are transparent, paid separately to the pharmacy—not ADHDdegree. The price of medication varies depending on dosage and brand, typically ranging from £50 to £150 per month, with most clients paying around £100. We actively work to keep these costs affordable.

Follow-up appointments for adults typically last around 30 minutes and cost £195 each.

After medication is stabilized (titration), many clients transition to a Shared Care Agreement with their GP, allowing ongoing treatment costs to move under the NHS. GPs usually review the frequency and number of follow-ups before accepting this arrangement, although some GPs may choose not to accept it. We have successfully established Shared Care Agreements with a large network of GP practices.

Payment & Insurance:

To confirm an appointment, payment must be made at the time of booking. If we do not receive payment within 48 hours of scheduling, we may have to cancel the appointment. We accept payments through debit or credit cards, either via a secure online link or by calling our office directly.

Our services are covered by most private health insurers, but we advise checking with your provider in advance to confirm your eligibility and any pre-authorisation requirements. This ensures that you can make the most of your insurance coverage without unexpected costs.
